China will continue to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of propanol originating in the United States for five years from November 6, 2026, following expiry reviews announced by the Ministry of Commerce.
The anti-dumping duty rates range from 254.4% to 267.4%, while countervailing duty rates range from 34.2% to 37.7%. Both measures will remain in place for five years.

The decision means that the duties will continue to be a major consideration in the cost of importing US-origin propanol into China. Buyers assessing supply arrangements may need to account for both measures when comparing the cost of sourcing material.
The measures directly concern propanol originating in the United States. Their wider effect on purchasing decisions and supply arrangements will depend on how buyers and suppliers respond over the five-year period.
